There are a few memorials honouring his visits. A film called “Mighty Waters” tells the story.
Mariah Carey’s hit “Butterfly” was recorded at Chris Blackwells’ Compass Point Studio in June 1997. She said, “I felt so relaxed and inspired there, I didn’t plan the vocals, it was about what came out of my mouth at the time, of figuring it out as I go along.”
